Present Simple та Present Continuous - вправи для 5 класу c відповідями онлайн

Present Continuous Tense або Present Progressive Tense – в перекладі на російську означає даний продовжене (тривалий) час. Найчастіше Present Continuous використовується для опису дії, що відбувається в момент мовлення.

Слова, що вказують на тривалість: now, at the moment, at this moment, these days, currently. Також Present Continuous показує тривалість часу у складних пропозиціях, використовуються: for (протягом), during (протягом), until (поки).

Зміст

Побудова речень у Present Continuous

У всіх пропозиціях Present Continuous використовуються:

допоміжний дієслово to be в потрібній формі;
дієслова з закінченням -ing (V-ing).

Форми дієслова to be:

am (з займенником I);
is ( 3-е особа, однина – He, She, It);
are (множина – We, You, They).

Зміни написання дієслова із закінченням -ing:

німа голосна –e у кінці слова — опускається:
- make – making;
голосні-ie змінюються на -y:
- lie – lying;
при закінченні дієслова на ударний закритий склад, відбувається подвоєння приголосної:
- bet – betting.

Стверджувальні речення у Present Continuous

Займенник або іменник + to be + V-ing + додаткова інформація.

Приклади вживання у реченнях:

I am playing football now.
He is looking at the picture now.
They are cooking now.

Негативні речення у Present Continuous

Займенник або іменник + to be + not + V-ing + додаткова інформація.

Приклади:

I am not playing football now.
He is not looking at the picture now (or isn’t He looking at the picture now).
They are not cooking now. (or They aren’t cooking now).

Питальні речення у Present Continuous

Формула утворення:

Питальне слово + to be + займенник або іменник + V-ing + додаткова інформація.

Приклади:

Am I playing football now?
Is he looking at the picture now?
Are they cooking now?

Короткі відповіді у Present Continuous:

Yes, I am.

Yes, he is.

Yes, they are.

No, I am not.

No, he is not (=isn’t).

No, they are not (=aren’t).
